Job Summary

  • Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Summer Sports Camp Instructor act as a role model and ambassador for McGill when demonstrating the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle through a combination of participation and instruction of camp physical activities to children ranging from ages 5-15 years old.
  • Lead and supervise campers and facilitate their participation during activities (i.e. tag, dodgeball, soccer and other basic games) to create a positive and memorable experience for all participants.
  • Know, enforce and follow all safety guidelines and understand all emergency procedures associated with the camp and communicate all issues requiring attention to Section Leaders immediately.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • One year of relevant experience
  • Currently enrolled in a McGill undergraduate or graduate program
