The Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) is accountable for direct and indirect quality care for patients according to the individualized needs of the patient, following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
The CWON will function as an educator and consultant to the Home Health Services staff, patients, and in the community as needed.
