Job Summary
Cleveland Clinic's Pediatric Institute is seeking a qualified Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a full-time position in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
The hired APRN will manage critically ill patients, pre and post operatively, with congenital heart disease, often on vasoactive support, mechanical ventilation, CRRT, and ECMO or Ventricular Assist Devices.
The role involves conducting thorough medical histories, performing physical examinations, initiating diagnostic tests, and collaborating with the medical team to ensure quality patient care.

Key Requirements
Nationally certified licensed healthcare provider
MSN required upon hire or within 5 years (APRN)
Graduate of an accredited ARPN training program (APRN)
Graduate of an A.R.C.-approved Physician Assistant Program (PA)
Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies (PA)
Current RN and APRN licensure (APRN)
National certification as APRN
Current NCCPA certification (PA)
BLS certification
ACLS or PALS certification may be required
Two years clinical advanced practice nursing experience preferred (APRN)
Two years relative clinical experience preferred (PA)
