The Heights Post Acute is seeking an Infection Prevention Nurse to oversee and manage the infection control program in accordance with health regulations. The ideal candidate should have a nursing degree, a minimum of two years of experience in long-term care, and a robust understanding of epidemiology and infectious diseases

Job Summary

  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coordinate, and direct our infection control program in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern such requirements in nursing care facilities.
  • Develop, maintain, and periodically update infection control precautions and aseptic technique that successfully correct problem areas.
  • Prepare monthly summaries of all resident/personnel infections, corrective action taken, and the results of the corrective action.
