Job Summary

  • The primary duties of this position are to provide instruction, leadership and program coordination for students in American Sign Language, following the North Carolina World Language Essential Standards.
  • This role combines teaching, assessment and coaching responsibilities to ensure quality ASL instruction to our students.
  • The North Carolina School for the Deaf is a specialty school for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students, ages 3 (three) to 22 (twenty-two), with a catchment area encompassing the 46 westernmost counties in North Carolina.
