Job Summary
The specialist is responsible for assisting group leaders and team members with repetitive and chronic equipment problems.
Assist Weld Shop with HMI and PLC modifications with existing and new equipment, assist production with new model teams and improve shop efficiency through breakdown recovery and countermeasures.
Train team members on new equipment and new technology including PLC and specific machine operations.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
PLC programming and troubleshooting
HMI modifications

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related field
2-5 years experience in manufacturing environment
Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
Experience with SAP system preferred
Knowledge and experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (preferably Allen Bradley, Logix/Studio-5000)
Experience with automation, design, installation, repair of equipment and Robotics
