This newly opened position provides veterinary support in the examination room with outpatient and in-patient procedures, assists with case management of animals admitted to the hospital communicates with clients, and sometimes refers veterinarians.

Key Requirements
Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year
High school or equivalent
Must be dependable, organized, and self-motivated
Must be able to efficiently perform venipuncture
Must be able to perform blood work
Must be well versed in critical care medicine
Must understand fluid therapy
Must possess the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb
manipulate (lift, carry, and move) up to 50 pounds
Able to stay on task and work energetically for the entire shift
