Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Strong commercial finance and secured transactions experience
  • Experience with UCC Article 9 and cross-border legal matters
  • Ability to manage external Canadian counsel effectively

Nice-to-have

  • Canadian bar admission preferred
  • Familiarity with Canadian PPSA/RDPRM concepts
  • Experience serving as AML Officer or Privacy Officer
  • Background in captive finance business models
  • Proven ability to work in a hybrid remote environment

Key Requirements
