Key Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of hands-on experience programming robots
  • Fanuc Robots, GM wizard, GM standards, GRS cert and 5yrs of GM project exposure
  • Lead small team of robotic programmers
  • Knowledge and experience using Fanuc DCS software
  • Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Mechatronics; Automation and Robotics Technician; Robotics and Industrial Automation or similar
  • Experience in robotic servo resistance welding and material handling
  • Excellent understanding of robotic coordinate systems
  • Working knowledge of communication protocols (Enet IP)
  • Good understanding of GM robot program flow and programming theories
  • Good understanding robot safety setup
  • Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and AutoCAD
