The Process Safety Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Process Safety Management (PSM) programs to ensure the safe design, operation, and modification of processes that handle hazardous materials.
This role ensures regulatory compliance, reduces operational risk, and drives continuous improvement by leading hazard analyses, supporting Management of Change (MOC) activities, overseeing mechanical integrity programs, and managing the closure of process safety action items.
The engineer applies ASME and API codes and standards to support mechanical integrity, equipment design reviews, inspection planning, and compliance with process safety and GMP expectations.
