Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide direct Physical Therapy services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Caswell Developmental Center under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
This candidate assists the PT with evaluations, treatment planning, scheduling, documentation, and daily therapy sessions.
The PTA trains and consults with facility staff on safe practices, positioning, transfers, and PT-related care and delivers and supports a variety of specialized PT services as part of individual treatment plans or standalone programs.
