Job Summary

  • The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will provide direct Physical Therapy services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Caswell Developmental Center under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
  • This candidate assists the PT with evaluations, treatment planning, scheduling, documentation, and daily therapy sessions.
  • The PTA trains and consults with facility staff on safe practices, positioning, transfers, and PT-related care and delivers and supports a variety of specialized PT services as part of individual treatment plans or standalone programs.
