Job Summary

  • The Associate Dean will articulate a vision for preeminence in veterinary education to further The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine as the model learning community where we prepare confident and competent graduates for careers of excellence in all areas of the profession.
  • The Associate Dean leads, inspires, and manages a team of two assistant deans and directors who are responsible for staff in offices and programmatic areas including admissions and recruitment; career counselling and professional development; curriculum development, delivery and management; quality assurance of the educational experience; outcomes development, assessment and reporting; student academic support; student health, wellbeing and accommodations; and financial aid.
  • The Associate Dean is responsible for collaborating, mentoring, and leading the following offices, committees, and programs in collaboration with the Assistant Dean of Student Success and the Assistant Dean for Education.
