The Marine Spill Response Corporation is seeking an Operational Responder in Belle Chasse, LA, to support oil spill response operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and the ability to operate industrial equipment safely

Job Summary

  • MSRC is seeking a qualified individual to perform preventative maintenance, basic corrective maintenance, and provide support in all phases of oil spill response equipment operation, deployment, retrieval, cleaning and storage.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a TWIC card and Passport, complete the 40 Hour HAZWOPER training and be available to report to the work site location within a 2-hour recall notice.
  • The position requires standing, lifting up to 45lbs, the ability to wear prescribed personal protective equipment, and work in various temperatures and sea conditions.
