Vertex is seeking a Commercial Data Management Senior Manager for its Pain therapy business unit, responsible for enhancing customer engagement through effective data management. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in data management within the life sciences sector, specifically with pharmaceutical data, and will be skilled in tools like Salesforce and data visualization platforms

Job Summary

  • The Commercial Data Management Senior Manager, Pain, is responsible for contributing to the coordination, design and delivery of the commercial data activities that enhance customer engagement and facilitate data driven decision making for the Pain therapy business unit.
  • Manages data services vendors, supports training of internal teams, and collaborates with Global Information Systems (GIS) team regarding implementation of fixes and enhancements.
  • Partners with Forecasting & Analytics team to align on TA needs and deliver performance content to commercial leadership team, and trains field force teams on data, reports, and business acumen regarding analytics.
