Job Title: Software Test Engineer Contract: 2 Years (Extendable) Location: East, Singapore Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to support end-to-end testing activities for an integrated e-payment system. The role covers the full testing lifecycle, including planning, design, execution, automation, and continuous improvement of test processes within a DevSecOps environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute end-to-end testing activities for system integration Analyse business and system requirements to define test scope Prepare test environments and develop test cases and test procedures Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and basic security testing Implement and maintain automated testing within DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines Log, track, and manage defects through to closure Perform root cause analysis for production and UAT issues Ensure requirements traceability and identify test coverage gaps Conduct test reviews with stakeholders Document automation solutions and user guides. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation Experience testing UI-based, embedded, or back-office systems At least 3 years’ experience testing on Windows OS Experience in Unix/Linux, cloud, or embedded systems is an advantage Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies (SIT, UAT, performance testing) Experience with test automation tools/scripting languages Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Xray, GitLab CI/CD) is preferred Experience in API testing and microservices security testing is an advantage Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team ISTQB certification is an advantage.
