Job Summary

• The Protection Officer provides technical leadership and coordination support to ensure protection responses across Cabo Delgado and Nampula Provinces are strategic, coherent and aligned with international standards and national frameworks.
• The role involves direct engagement with government authorities and partners to strengthen protection responses, civil documentation, referrals and access to rights for displaced and vulnerable populations.
• The incumbent supports emergency response operations, conducts field missions, and ensures that protection risks are identified and addressed in a timely manner to inform humanitarian decision-making and recovery planning.
