Job Summary
The Staff Accountant supports the plant’s financial operations by maintaining accurate general ledger records, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting month-end and quarter-end close processes, validating data between SAP and OneStream, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
Prepare and post journal entries in SAP, including accruals, reclasses, inventory-related entries, and standard accounting adjustments.
Prepare timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts and investigate reconciling items.
