Job Summary

• Perform hardware installation & decommission of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure, and troubleshoot/repair data center hardware and networking infrastructure.
• Monitor DC environments using monitoring tools and respond to tickets in a 24/7/365 working environment, showing professionalism and flexibility in shift schedules.
• Maintain asset inventory, order replacement parts, document activities, create/modify SOPs, and complete small projects independently.

• 2+ years in an IT environment
• Troubleshooting experience on servers, networking devices, and IT equipment
• Inventory management experience
• Ability to prioritize work
• Experience with on-call shifts
• Knowledge of IT Hardware Concepts (RAID, SAN, X86 Architecture, Linux/Unix, Boot Process, GRUB/LILO, File Systems, Network Device configuration, Directory Structure)
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
