Job Summary

  • Helps lead the oversight of daily activities between the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Departments to facilitate efficient case flow, through efficient case cart assembly and decontamination, assembly and sterilization/high level disinfection of all reprocessed surgical inventory.
  • Responsible for assisting in projects and process improvement, promoting customer service and patient satisfaction through effective communication with Operating Room clinical operations and multiple sterile processing departments across the Medical Center.
  • Also responsible for organizing instrument trays on a global level to service the entire Enterprise in a standardized procedural manner.
