As an LVT in our ER, you’ll be hands-on with advanced, meaningful medicine every shift, including placement of IV catheters, monitoring anesthesia, and managing critically ill patients.

Salary
Base: $24 per hour; Bonus/Equity: $1500 sign-on bonus; Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K match, paid holidays and time off

Must-have
Placement of IV catheters
Monitoring anesthesia and patient vitals
Administering and monitoring blood transfusions
Critical thinking in emergency situations
Performing medical math and medication calculations

Key Requirements
Active License for Veterinary Technician in Michigan
Minimum 2 years experience as LVT or 5 years as veterinary assistant if newly licensed
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
