Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Peace Officer CLEET certification
  • Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
  • Sound physical and psychological condition
  • Pass pre-employment drug test and polygraph
  • Pass Oklahoma Law Enforcement Retirement System physical
  • Rigid character and background investigation
  • Complete OTRD’s in-house Field Training Officer Program within one year of hire
