ConvaTec Group is seeking a Scientist II for a one-year contract role focused on analytical testing of medical devices and skin care products at their Deeside facility. The position requires expertise in laboratory practices and compliance with regulatory standards, aimed at supporting product development and quality assurance

Job Summary

  • Perform analytical testing on existing and new medical devices, skin care products and raw materials according to pre-determined protocols, SOPs, OCIs and TDs in support of product claims.
  • Maintain compliance to ISO13485 and ISO9001 standards in accordance with GLP/GMP compliant procedures and analyse, document, interpret, and report laboratory data to GMP/GLP standards.
  • Actively execute improvement ideas (Lean/6S) for the Analytical Laboratory and other owned areas and support improvements to current Analytical processes including updates to current test and operating procedures.
