Job Summary

  • This position functions to coordinate all aspects of patients' pharmaceutical needs at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center with additional responsibility to act as representative of their site through involvement in teaching, educational, supervisory, and quality improvement activities.
  • Responsible for verifying new medication orders, checking prepared medications, overseeing dispensing from the pharmacy, and completing clinical patient review for safety and accuracy.
  • Actively engages in and leads appropriate hospital and/or departmental committees relevant to site and assists with creation and implementation of workflows related to their site.
