Job Summary

  • Provide comprehensive face to face and telephone assessments including mental state assessment, risk assessment and planning of appropriate crisis interventions in the least restrictive environment to ensure that people in an acute phase of a mental illness receive high quality treatment.
  • Use understanding and working knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2014 and other relevant legislation to ensure least restrictive practice is the standard approach and consumers rights are protected and to guide other less experienced practitioners.
  • This role offers excellent career progression, ongoing full-time employment with a monthly Accrued Day Off (ADO), and is located in Fitzroy with easy access to public transport and amenities.
