Job Summary

  • Performs functions necessary for the support, treatment, measurement, or supplementation of the cardiopulmonary and circulatory system of patients during routine and/or long term support.
  • Active participation in the Vanderbilt Cardiovascular Perfusion Technology Program as a clinical, didactic and simulation instructor.
  • The perfusionist is independently responsible for a wide range of mechanical life support systems.
