The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the trading and shipping sectors, particularly with a focus on the Steel Making Raw Materials and Thermal Coal markets, especially in relation to China and Southeast Asia

Job Summary

  • You are responsible for providing an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of commodity supply and demand fundamentals, macroeconomic trends, policies, geopolitical factors and price trends to support trading and strategic decisions.
  • You are instrumental to building and maintaining arbitrage models, forecasting trade flows and policy driven changes, generating market insights for internal teams.
  • Work closely and cooperate with the employer's trading teams and analysis team based in different geographies of the world, all aiming at refining the markets view of the employer.
