As critical members of Cloudflare’s sales team, Solutions Engineers drive technical discussions and implementations to help generate new business, expand existing business, and keep our customers happy.
The role requires 20-30% travel to attend meetings with prospects or customers, attend conferences and other industry events, and to collaborate with your Cloudflare teammates.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Scripting language experience (Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go)
Expertise in internet technologies (OSI 1-7, BGP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS)
Familiarity with Zero Trust Framework and SASE
Customer-facing sales or consulting experience
Technical curiosity and passion for internet technology
Project management and relationship building skills
Nice-to-have
Web application development experience
Understanding of firewalls and network security concepts
Experience with command-line interfaces and RESTful APIs
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOC-2)
Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
Key Requirements
12 years plus of experience in a customer-facing sales or consulting role
Demonstrated experience with a scripting language
