Job Summary

  • Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist and per the physician treatment plan, recording daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
  • Assist the nursing department with training of Restorative Aides and communicate patient progress with the supervisor and other health team members.
  • Instruct patient's families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training in preparation for discharge, and participate in discharge planning.
