Job Summary

  • Provides planning, programming, project formulation, and other studies and evaluations to support the University’s capital program.
  • Manages and leads a diverse team of third-party contracted registered professional Architects, Engineers, and Construction Management firms in the delivery of the Lower Hillhouse Development.
  • Oversees projects, or portions of projects, to ensure they are on time and on budget; have a high regard for excellence; implement efficiency; and incorporate sustainability and site safety.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Planning
  • Seven years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of architectural planning, design, and construction processes
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Unity (eBuilder)
  • Project cost management experience
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Planning or Architecture preferred
  • Five years’ experience in planning or project management preferred
  • Professional Engineering license (P.E.) or Architectural license (R.A.) strongly preferred
