The Respiratory Care Assistant II performs respiratory care therapies and equipment setup under the direction and supervision of a Respiratory Care Professional.
This role is authorized to access unit medication rooms or bedside medication drawers to retrieve and administer authorized medications.
Essential functions include performing all competencies of the Respiratory Care Assistant 1, offering preventative care, assessing cardiopulmonary needs, and embracing the interdisciplinary care model.
