Job Summary
The Histology Technologist 2 - IRP provides histological services to the dermatology department physicians performing MOHS surgeries.
The Histology Technologist 2 – IRP will be responsible for processes involving tissue embedding, sorting, cutting, and staining slides of tissue samples for diagnosis by physicians and surgical pathologists.
Additional duties involve general paperwork, equipment maintenance, assisting with quality control and assurance metrics, procedural audits, accreditation preparation, training and troubleshoot both mechanical and human errors and/or malfunctions.
