As a Dispute Resolution Officer role, you will participate in dispute resolution at the Personal Injury Commission (PIC) workers insurance stream to pro-actively assist in the management and, where possible early resolution of disputes, ensuring positive outcomes are maximised

Job Summary

  • As a Dispute Resolution Officer role, you will participate in dispute resolution at the Personal Injury Commission (PIC) workers insurance stream to pro-actively assist in the management and, where possible early resolution of disputes, ensuring positive outcomes are maximised.
  • Attend the Personal Injury Commission (PIC) as EML’s representative for in person and MS Teams litigation events for statutory and work injury damages matters.

Key Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in NSW workers compensation/personal injury claims management or personal injury law in NSW
  • Extensive experience with NSW workers compensation dispute and litigation processes
  • Strong understanding of NSW workers compensation legislation and case law
  • Tertiary legal education highly regarded
