Must-have

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
  • U.S. citizenship mandatory for clearance eligibility
  • Experience with House and Senate Appropriations Committees
  • Knowledge of NDAA and annual appropriations bills
  • Relationship building with Members of Congress

Nice-to-have

  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently in matrixed organizations
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. military concepts and terminology
  • Experience coordinating with Political Action Committees
  • Proven track record influencing federal legislation

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years relevant experience or 10 years with advanced degree
  • Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance on day one
  • U.S. citizenship required prior to start date
  • Previous Capitol Hill experience on appropriations bills
  • University degree or equivalent experience
