Job Summary

  • This position will be responsible for supervising personnel and activities within the lab as well as performing various types of technical tests and analysis to help our customers achieve excellence in materials processing and welding through collaboration and technical knowledge.
  • Interact with customers and SGS Engineers/Technologists to determine job requirements, specify tests, develop test methods and complete work in a technically correct, timely and safe manner.
  • Work within the rules of the ISO 17025 quality program and review and take responsibility for the technical results by signing laboratory test reports.

Key Requirements

  • CET accreditation registered with APEGA or ASET
  • 4-6 years of experience in an Industrial related field
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects
