Job Summary

  • Perform quality inspections to verify that optical components, mechanical assemblies, electrical cables, and integrated hardware and testing activities meet specified drawing/specification requirements.
  • Work with engineering and production team members in an interactive and collaborative environment.
  • Support weekend shift operations (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6 am – 6 pm) at our assembly facility in Huntsville, AL.

Key Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of prior relevant work experience
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge of standard inspection and measurement equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • Ability to witness test procedures and generate test/inspection reports
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, assembly schematics, design models, and specifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Pass an eye exam for visual inspection
