Key Requirements

  • Two years of certified law enforcement experience
  • Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and training certificate
  • Valid Arkansas Driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prepare and write police reports
  • Ability to communicate and maintain rapport
  • Ability to enforce parking regulations
  • Skill in the operations of firearms
  • Ability to walk 8 to 12 miles in a 12-hour shift
  • Five years of law enforcement experience (preferred)
  • Prior investigative experience (preferred)
