Job Summary
Responsible for performing the installation and maintenance of all electronic and specialty equipment installed in city vehicles and the City of Garland radio communication infrastructure.
Conduct the installation and/or removal of mobile public safety equipment, including radios, lights, sirens, GPS systems, cameras, and other mobile communication devices in emergency vehicles and public works equipment.
Provide technical support and training to city personnel on the operation and maintenance of installed equipment.
