The ideal candidate will have a background in science or a related field, experience with disadvantaged students, and skills in advising and tutoring

Job Summary

  • The Specialist will provide administrative program support to the TRIO program in the area of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
  • Additional responsibilities include updating and maintaining electronic and paper files for program participants, tracking student progress, and developing and implementing retention strategies.
  • The Specialist will also be responsible for collaborating with department deans to create course syllabi and recruiting and training Peer Tutors.
