Job Summary

  • At Corteva Agriscience, you will help us grow what’s next, solving the world’s food problems through innovation, technology, and putting people first.
  • Your primary role will be to support production operations through the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of various electrical systems and equipment.
  • Team members will be required to work with the maintenance supervisor, coordinator and specialist on work queues, work orders and projects, and help organize and plan work, including seasonal shutdowns.

  • Troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment
  • Maintenance of electrical, instrumentation, and control devices
  • Adherence to quality systems & safety procedures
  • Work with maintenance supervisor, coordinator and specialist
  • Industrial electrical maintenance work experience
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues related to motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC
  • Maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, and installing MCPs, ICPs, fire and securing systems, and communications systems

Key Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Alberta Electrical Journeyman certificate or Interprovincial Red Seal Electrical Journeyman certificate
  • Knowledge and experience maintaining, repairing, installing, and troubleshooting industrial electrical panels and equipment up to 600V
  • Working knowledge of and ability to interpret the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
  • General knowledge and some experience troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Valid Class “5” driver’s license and able to obtain a driver's abstract
  • Ability to climb and/or work in elevated areas, stand and sit for extended periods, and work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform work involving repetitive motion and/or lifting
