The Big Data Systems Engineer will deploy and integrate the CHEETAS data analytic project at multiple DoD ranges and labs, working closely with system administrators and developers to resolve deployment issues.
This role offers remote work options with travel up to 50% to support end users across various DoD Ranges and Labs in the US, including Alaska and Hawaii.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Big Data systems deployment and integration
Configuration of SQL Server Big Data Cluster
Experience with CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat
Working with DoD restricted environments
Troubleshooting big data ecosystems
Knowledge of Windows Server and VMWare
Nice-to-have
Experience in government/defense labs
Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies
Ability to mentor engineers
Experience with distributed team environments
Knowledge of Test and Training Enabling Architecture
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Requirements
Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree in STEM or related technical field
10 years DoD experience
3 years hands-on SQL Server Big Data Cluster integration
