Job Summary

  • This position involves delivering teaching across the Bachelor of Nutrition / Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, coordinating units and contributing to curriculum development with a focus on culturally safe and responsive practice.
  • You will also play an important role in strengthening connections with community, health services, industry and professional partners, while maintaining your own professional development to ensure best practice in teaching and cultural capability.

Key Requirements

  • Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
  • Postgraduate qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake Graduate Certificate
  • Understanding of current professional and educational issues
  • Proven record of scholarship and/or research
  • Ability to teach and supervise students
  • Professional experience in regional, rural and remote settings
  • Focus on First Nations health
