The cook is responsible for managing and operating the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
Essential duties include maintaining a safe, orderly, clean, and sanitary kitchen and cooking area, preparing tasteful meals in large quantities, and accurately preparing special diets.
The role requires the ability to prepare pureed foods, record food temperatures, maintain quaternary solution in sanitizer buckets, and assist with serving meals.
