Job Summary
The Heavy Equipment Operator Apprenticeship Program provides apprentices the opportunity to develop competencies required of a journey-level operator through on-the-job and instructor-led training.
Apprentices will learn to safely perform pre and post operational checks and operate various pieces of equipment including excavators, dozers, and dump trucks on building and highway projects.
Upon completion of all requirements and demonstration of competence, journey level Certification will be issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Apprenticeship.
