The Regional Safety and Security Director (RSSD) for Asia provides strategic leadership for safety, security, and humanitarian access across the region, setting and driving a comprehensive strategy to mitigate risks and safeguard staff and assets.
The role involves integrating gender-inclusive security risk analysis into all aspects of IRC’s work, extending security capacity to partners, and building an external network for enhanced collective risk management.
Responsibilities include leading security risk management, enabling principled humanitarian access, performance management and development of staff, and supporting incident management across country programs in Asia.

Ability to transfer knowledge through mentoring and coaching
Ability to analyze and present complex security dynamics
