Job Summary

  • Performs prescribed MRI imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, competently performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.
  • Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation, and prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
  • Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment, troubleshooting, resolving, and/or reporting equipment malfunctions as necessary.
