Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.
Essential duties include accurately and safely preparing, administering, and documenting medications, as well as noting and reporting errors and participating in quality assurance programs.
The position requires a licensed Medication Aide with successful completion of a state-approved training program and any necessary examinations.
