Job Summary

  • Responsible for the design and release of electrical and electronics accessories for both on-road and off-road applications from concept to production.
  • Collaborate with other Scout functional teams to develop, package, and execute unique Scout electrical and electronics accessories to bring them to market.
  • Ensure all program targets, including Piece Cost, ED&D Budget, Timing, Weight, and Quality, are met.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a relevant field preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in automotive electrical and electronic parts development
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, 8 Disciplines for problem solving, DFMEA, DVP&R, Certification Testing, GD&T, DFM, Variation Analysis, APQP/PPAP Process, Design for Service, and Design for Manufacturing
  • Skilled in utilizing CATIA for designing and developing detailed parts
  • Previous assembly plant launch experience
  • Familiarity with computer-aided engineering (CAE)
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, approximately 25% of the time
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Passport required
