  • This role is generally assigned more difficult surgical procedures, such as Cardiac and/or Transplant surgeries, requiring high-level critical thinking and independent judgment.
  • Responsibilities include performing the scrub role, preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, and potentially mentoring other surgical technicians.

  • 3 years Surgical Technician experience in acute care
  • Expertise in 3 Surgical Specialties (1 must be Cardiac/Transplant)
  • Surgical services process improvement experience
  • Active Surgical Technician practice within 6 months
  • Valid Surgical Tech certification (CST)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
  • Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
