Job Summary

  • This position's primary responsibility is the production preparation (model launch) of Battery manufacturing equipment to produce lithium-ion battery cells to support Toyota’s vision of providing Electrified Vehicles (EVs) to market.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse, cross-functional team to complete equipment adjustment through Commissiong phase; Identify and resolve items, conducting root cause analysis and clear countermeasures to achieve process safety, quality, and productivity KPI’s.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering or similar technical field or 10+ years of equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of equivalent experience in manufacturing
  • Experience in creating and implementing manufacturing processes
  • Project management experience with schedule and budget creation
  • Experience with planning, implementing mass production support
  • Ability for business travel up to 20%
  • Ability to work weekend and shutdown work
