Key Requirements

  • Unencumbered California nursing license
  • Master’s degree in nursing for Associate Professor rank
  • Terminal degree in nursing for Professor rank
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience for Associate Professor rank
  • Minimum 10 years clinical experience for Professor rank
  • Minimum 3 years teaching experience for Associate Professor rank
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience for Professor rank
  • At least 1 year as CABRN approved Assistant Program Director/Director
  • At least 5 years direct patient care or 1 academic year clinical teaching
  • Leadership experience in higher education
  • Experience with CCNE or ACEN accreditation standards
